Basmati rice has the longest grain of rice of all rice varieties and has a full aroma and flavor. Only the outer, indigestible chaff has been removed. The membrane with many valuable nutrients is therefore still there. Preparation method: use about 75 g per person. Rinse the rice. Add twice the amount of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 40 to 45 minutes. Storage advice: keep cool, dry and well closed.
