Local Deliveries within a maximum 10KM radius of Carlow town will take place once a week on Saturday mornings. Orders for delivery must be placed by 10pm Thursday. Delivery charged at €7. Orders over €100 free.

Place your order for collection from our Foodhall Thursday - Saturday 9.00AM - 5.00PM. We will phone you when your order is ready for collection.

Mellas Irish Vanilla Fudge Bar


Mella McAuley makes her stunningly delicious butter fudge, using local
Bandon butter. Mella began making fudge for a local sweet shop in
Bantry when she was in school. Fifteen years later, having worked in a
variety of different spheres (including a couple of spells in Sheridans
Cheesemongers!), she decided to set up her own business making fudge.
Initially she started a stall in Bantry’s Friday Market, and sold to local delis.
Gradually her kitchen enterprise grew in scale and now she works from
her own kitchen unit in Lisavaird Co-op, outside Clonakilty, West Cork..

Mienas Almond & Pistachio Nougat Bar


Miena began making her handmade nougat in the Glen of Imaal in Co. Wicklow in 2013. Inspired by nature, and the lush countryside surrounding her home –bees making honey, fresh ingredients and nothing artificial; Miena set about translating this landscape in to a handcrafted food. Nougat is a popular type of confectionery in Miena’s Native South Africa and timeless recipes were tweaked with a fusion of South African, Irish and continental influences – the result is unique. Miena’s hands make all her nougat in a specially designed kitchen and she pays huge attention to detail in the ingredients she uses and in her wonderful recipes, which result in a softer nougat which is not overly sweet. Miena has had her kitchen certified gluten-free, so all her products are coeliac friendly.
